Command Sergeant Major Ginger Cribb joined the U.S. Army 15 August 1984 as a 31C Single Channel Radio Teletype Operator. Her first assignment was with the 142nd Signal Battalion at Fort Hood, Texas. Three years later she was reassigned to the 122nd Signal Battalion at Camp Casey, Korea.
The Department of the Army selected her for recruiting duty while in Korea. CSM Cribb's 1st assignment as a recruiter was in Sumter, S.C., September 1989. Upon conversion to 79R Recruiter, she served as an On-Production Station Commander in Georgetown, S.C. and then as a Limited Production Station Commander in Sumter, S.C.
CSM Cribb became a Guidence Counselor at the Fort Jackson Military Entrance Processing Station, after two years as an LPSC. Upon promotion to Master Sergeant in March 1999, she became the Senior Operations NCOIC for the Cleveland Recruiting Battalion. One year later, she assumed duties as the First Sergeant for the Cleveland Recruiting Company.
CSM Cribb served as the Cleveland Company First Sergeant for three years until her promotion to Sergeant Major on 1 March 2003. She was appointed to Command Sergeant Major on 29 May 2003 and subsequently assigned as the Command Sergeant Major of Raleigh Recruiting Battalion.
CSM Cribb completed her tour as the Raleigh Battalion Command Sergeant Major after four successful years on 15 June 2007.
On 31 August 2007, Command Sergeant Major Cribb retired from the United States Army after more than 23 years of dedicated and faithful Army service to our Nation.
